[NBP web-reskin] Question: Changing directories (Putty and git)

I can't seem to go up on level with a cd.. (cd dot dot) 



Anyone have some commands for navigating around using commad line Putty for version control when using git? 



I thought cd.. and cd. would work.  Only cd does and it brings me back to the top, abouve the Campxx's.
