Exciting New Developments for the 5th Annual
Team With A Vision 5K Run and Walk

Saturday, September 17, 2005

Photo shows team members Justin, Bill, and Eileen standing in front of NBP building.

Join the new Team NBP at the 2005 TWAV Run and Walk- Led by captains Bill Raeder, Eileen Curran, and Justin Byron, the team will be participating in both the run and walk, and all funds raised will go toward NBP's literacy work. (NBP President Bill Raeder is so ambitious that as part of his training he's going to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with Erik Weihenmayer. Read Bill's journal here. After climbing a 19,000 foot mountain in Africa, the TWAV walk should be a breeze!) Your support below will encourage him in both of these ventures.

The Team With A Vision 5K Run and Walk is a unique and scenic run and walk along the Charles River in Boston, involving both blind and sighted runners, beginners and competitors, teams and individuals.

This family-friendly event includes the second annual Kids' Fun Run and a free post-event picnic. Proceeds benefit organizations working to enhance the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired. Be a part of it!
