World Braille Day

This month, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a World Blind Union's Resolution recognizing World Braille Day on January 4, Louis Braille's birthday. The purpose of the World Braille Day is to raise awareness of the importance of braille literacy for blind and partially sighted persons worldwide. You can participate in World Braille by sharing your experience as a braille reader or advocate via social media by using the tag #WorldBrailleDay on January 4, 2019.
